Professional Biography

Neha Batta is working on a Masters degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Western University's Institute for Chemicals and Fuels from Alternative Resource (ICFAR) and is part of the NSERC IRC in Thermochemical Conversion of Biomass and Waste to Bioindustrial Resources research team. She is co-supervised by Franco Berruti, Lars Rehmann and Cesar Miguel Moreira Valenzuela. Neha has a Masters in Microbial Biotechnology from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India and a PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, India. Neha has previously worked as a Project Associate on Bioremediation of Heavy Metals at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi, India.
