Professional Biography

Griffin Loebsack is part of the the NSERC IRC in Thermochemical Conversion of Biomass and Waste to Bioindustrial Resources research team working at Western University's Institute for Chemicals and Fuels from Alternative Resources (ICFAR). He is working towards a Master of Science degree in Chemistry. His supervisors are: Dr. Ken Yeung (Chemistry), Dr. Franco Berruti (Chemical and Biochemical Engineering) and Dr. Naomi Klinghoffer (Chemical and Biochemical Engineering). Griffin graduated from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario with an honours Bachelor of Chemistry degree in 2019.

 


 

Research Interests

Griffin Loebsack is interested in the investigation of biochar adsorption mechanisms for pharmaceutical compounds.
