Chiara Barbiero is a Ph.D. graduate from ICFAR
Professional Biography
Chiara Barbiero completed her Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engneering at Western University's ICFAR under the supervision of Professor Berruti. She was part of the NSERC IRC team in Thermochemical Conversion of Biomass and Waste to Bioindustrial Resources. Chiara's research project was the "Development of technologies for high-value products from the pyrolysis of Phragmites australis". Chiara received a Master of Science in Chemical and Sustainable Process Engineering (2014) and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (2012) both from Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy.
